What is not planted after cucumbers

In no case should you plant in a bed where cucumbers, squash and pumpkins previously grew.

These are related crops with similar soil requirements.

After cucumbers, it is best to plant so-called intermediate crops.

These include mustard, rye, lupine, rapeseed, oilseed radish, and vetch.

It is especially useful to plant legumes and cruciferous vegetables after cucumbers.

Root vegetables, bulbous vegetables, and leafy vegetables also grow well in cucumber beds.
