Predecessors

Not every summer resident has an empty place for raspberries: in most cases, some plantings have already been done. Therefore, green manure, garlic, zucchini, cucumbers, and onions are good options for raspberries.

But it is absolutely not worth planting raspberries after strawberries or potatoes.

Soil quality

First of all, you need to familiarize yourself with the acidity indicators. They should be neutral. The soil should not be too dense.

The shrub feels good on loam. Sandy loam soil may also be suitable.

Top dressing

It is recommended to prepare the soil in advance. For this, take 7 kilograms of compost per square meter. Humus in the same volume will also do.

The soil is enriched with superphosphate: 30 grams of fertilizer are added per square meter. For the same plot of land, you can take 20 grams of potassium sulfate.

You can also take half a glass of bone meal and ash.
