If you plan to collect a decent harvest, then at the very beginning of spring it is worth working on the soil in the greenhouse.
Just a few activities will make it incredibly high quality.
Therefore, it is worth focusing on four simple actions, says Anastasia Kovrizhnykh, an expert of the online publication BelNovosti, landscape designer and agronomist scientist.
What do they consist of?
Snow
Any experienced gardener tries to cover the greenhouse soil with a sufficient amount of snow. Thanks to this simple action, the soil will become many times more fertile.
Disinfection
This is a fairly necessary step that is not recommended to be skipped. Disinfection of the soil and the greenhouse itself as a whole allows you to rid the soil of pathogens.
White mustard
Try to have time to sow the green manure in such a way that it can be mown and laid out as mulch approximately 7-10 days before planting the main plants.
Top dressing
You can choose absolutely any soil fertilizers that you deem necessary. But it is worth remembering the timing. Nutrients are applied no later than 14 days before planting the main crops.
