The harvest depends on the weather in the very last case. Everything else is in the hands of the summer resident, and one can safely say that he himself is the creator of his own happiness.

For example, if you forget about proper neighboring in your garden or vegetable garden, you can say goodbye to your harvest. There are plenty of such examples.

Anastasia Kovrizhnykh , an expert of the online publication "BelNovosti", an agronomist and landscape designer, told which plants can leave without a cherry harvest.

If you ignore these tips, the harvest will be worthless. The fruits will grow small and sour, if they grow at all.

Firstly, cherry trees are not planted near spreading trees with a dense crown. The tree needs sunlight, and in the shade its growth stops and fruiting is disrupted.

Secondly, it is a bad idea to grow cherries next to apple, pear and peach trees.

The reason is that all these crops are full of common diseases, the most common of which is moniliosis.

Thirdly, potatoes are incompatible with cherries. But in this case, the vegetable crop suffers more, and all because the tree roots secrete substances that the plant does not like.

Fourth, keep away grapes, which are considered a powerful competitor and take away nutrients and light from the tree.

Fifthly, you should not plant honeysuckle or rowan next to cherry trees.

They consume a lot of nutrients, which affects the cherry yield.
