How to properly preserve a summer house for the winter: minimizing the consequences of the cold period
If you do not live in a summer house during the winter, then your country house requires preparation for temperature changes.
You can simply close the doors tightly or come periodically to heat the premises.
But if you are not ready to spend the whole weekend and firewood just to warm the walls, then it is better to carry out proper conservation of the building.
Fortunately, this is not that difficult to do.
Features of preserving a country house for the winter
First, you need to choose a dry and cool day and cool the room by simply airing it out.
A cooled house will be less susceptible to dampness, and in the spring you will be able to heat it up without difficulty within two days.
But if you have a house with utilities, you need to drain all the water from the heating, water supply and sewerage systems. You should also turn off all electrical appliances.
