The bulbotuberous group includes hyacinths, ranunculus, gladioli, and so on.

Unfortunately, during winter storage these flowers often begin to dry out, which leads to their death.

It is not surprising that such flowers are not suitable for future planting in the spring.

Let's look at the opinion of an expert from the online publication "Belnovosti" and an agronomist regarding the diseases that prevent these plants from surviving the winter.

What diseases affect flowers of this species?

Here are 3 diseases.

  1. Fusarium rot. This disease manifests itself in winter - if brownish-scarlet spots with a pink coating appear on the bulb, then cleaning and processing are necessary.
  2. Bacterial rot. It can destroy all bulbs. Note that it is better to destroy the disease with gloves.
  3. White rot. Soaking in a solution of phytosporin may help.

We have previously talked about a remedy that can defeat all plant diseases – we will reveal the details of the miracle recipe.
