Let us repeat: loose soil is a very important factor that determines whether your carrots will grow straight or crooked.

Therefore, when planting this root crop, be sure to use sifted sand, peat, humus and try to get rid of any solid objects that may be present in the garden bed.

Before sowing, rake the dug soil again, then water the beds with a watering can and pour in the seeds mixed with a glass of sand. All that remains is to sprinkle the plantings with loose humus, and the work can be considered complete.

Two weeks after the seedlings have turned green in the beds, add a solution of one tablespoon of calcium nitrate and 10 liters of water.

Thinning of seedlings is done a month after germination, and as the carrots grow, feed them with ammophos and potassium sulfate.
