Despite the fact that it is winter outside, the summer cottage season is not over yet for some gardeners – now they are growing vegetable crops in a winter garden on the windowsill.

Especially for them, we have found a recipe for a product that will help increase the yield of tomatoes grown in pots several times.

Despite the fact that mullein is the ideal fertilizer for growing tomatoes, its use at home is, let's say, somewhat problematic, so experienced gardeners use ash as a replacement.

If you live in a private house heated by a stove, you will probably have more than enough ash.

To prepare an ash solution, you need to dilute a tablespoon of wood ash in a liter of water.

Leave this mixture to infuse for 10 hours, then thoroughly mix the contents of the container and use it for watering.

This solution should be added 10-14 days after picking.

The next feeding is done before flowering using potassium humate, which is prepared from a liter of warm water and a teaspoon of solution.

One adult tomato requires approximately 100 ml of the resulting fertilizer.
