If you want the Decembrist grown on your windowsill to delight you with lush and long flowering, you cannot do without feeding.

Experienced gardeners advise adding nutrients in late autumn – early winter, when the flower begins to form and produce buds.

You can support it in this “undertaking” with the help of phosphorus-potassium fertilizers.

Thanks to preparations containing phosphorus and potassium, you can strengthen the root system of the Decembrist, which will certainly affect its flowering - for the better, of course.

Perhaps the best choice would be monopotassium phosphate.

Fill a suitable container with 2 liters of warm water, add a teaspoon of the product and stir until completely dissolved.

Use the resulting mixture to water plants - both Decembrist and others. It is enough to apply such fertilizer twice during the autumn-winter period, observing an interval of 1.5 months.

In spring, it is time for nitrogen - fertilizers with this component in their composition will help the Decembrist become more spreading and grow properly.
