This is a mistake many gardeners make: limit the growth of some plants

It is not too late to tidy up your flower garden in the fall, but it is also worth thinking about what the gardener did wrong throughout the season.

Sometimes a gardener makes some mistakes due to inexperience, and such actions include ignoring the growth of some plants.

However, not all flowers die in the fall – they can continue to grow in the spring.

Let's see what the expert of the online publication "Belnovosti" and agronomist Anastasia Kovrizhnykh thinks about this.

What to do with creeping plants

If creeping plants or plants with creeping rhizomes begin to grow in the flowerbed, then very soon they will fill the entire flowerbed.

In this case, the appearance of the flowerbed will be far from what was planned - creeping plants will displace weaker species from there.

Therefore, it is important to limit the growth of such plantings by removing both the above-ground and root parts.

Some summer residents use dug-in sheets of slate, roofing felt or stones to create obstacles.
