Why Moisture is Dangerous for Ash
First of all, we note that getting wet causes the product to lose its beneficial properties.
Potassium, sodium and magnesium salts dissolve in water and are easily washed away by precipitation. For example, if ash was scattered on a garden bed in the rain, the microelements will go into the soil ahead of time.
But the main reason is that in a room with high humidity, ash in the open air will cake and turn into a sticky paste. It will not lose its properties, but it will be much more difficult to use.
