The weevil is often one of the most underestimated pests: if you do not protect berries from its attacks, you can easily be left without a tasty and healthy harvest.

It's not just strawberries that can suffer from insect attacks.

An expert of the online publication "BelNovosti", agronomist and landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh also notes that blackberry bushes and raspberry bushes may be at risk.

What methods can be tried?

Iodine

Quite an effective and high-quality method that needs to be updated periodically. You will need to take half a small spoon of iodine in a bucket of water and start spraying the bushes and strawberries.

Also, do not forget about soil cultivation. To increase efficiency, the procedure is carried out every two weeks.

Traps

This method is also quite good, especially if used in combination. In a bowl of water, mix water with any jam or sugar.

We place them near the berry plantings. In a day, you will be able to collect an impressive number of pests.
