Many villagers have such well-kept gardens that slugs seem to avoid them.
But summer residents can use the entire arsenal of industrial preparations, but still fight pests unsuccessfully.
Therefore, the expert of the online publication "BelNovosti", scientist agronomist and landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh advises to take a closer look at such areas.
Many villagers try to make their plot favorable for the habitation of at least one toad. They create special conditions for it and even make a miniature pond. Just one toad will be enough to forget about slugs once and for all. And your new "pet" will be safe for the vegetable garden and garden.
Villagers use different methods of dealing with weeds. Some prefer regular weeding, others actively use mulch. In any case, it will reduce the likelihood of slime.
The same should be done with plant remains - use them immediately or destroy them.
In addition to the first two methods, you can add pine needles. They are placed along the perimeter of the site itself and next to crops that slugs are especially interested in.
