The autumn months are known to be a very favorable time for planting many crops, including honeysuckle.

According to the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, scientist-agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh , this “operation” is simply doomed to success, because the soil in the garden at this time of year is still warm, and the weather is no longer so hot.

The combination of the listed factors gives the desired result: the plant will take root well, if, of course, you act according to all the rules during planting.

First of all, it is worth spending a few words on the correct planting hole. Its depth should be about 40 cm, and the diameter is slightly larger - 50 cm.

Pour 100 g of superphosphate into the bottom of the hole dug in the ground. Place a whole bucket of humus here. You can add fertile soil on top and place the seedling.

By the way, about seedlings - if you plant honeysuckle in the fall, give preference to seedlings with a closed root system, that is, it should have closed roots and grow either in a pot or in a bag.

After the honeysuckle with a closed root system is in the planting hole, water the plant generously.

The soil around the bush should be covered with a layer of mulch consisting of humus.
