As a rule, in summer the main attention is given to plants in the garden and vegetable garden, but indoor flowers remain “deprived”.

Therefore, the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, scientist agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh advises to carefully examine geraniums, ficuses and other plants crowded in pots on your windowsills.

You may find that some leaves have turned yellow and dried out at the tips.

Let's find out what this could be related to and how to help plants in this case.

First of all, it is worth dismissing the idea that such, undoubtedly, unpleasant drying can be associated with a lack of watering.

It turns out that the tips of the leaves usually turn yellow and dry when the flower experiences a potassium deficiency.

To correct the situation, use potassium monophosphate - you will need to mix only 2 grams in a liter of water, and then use the resulting mixture to spray the leaves on both sides.

If you are sure that your “green pet” will not like this treatment, prepare a solution for watering by adding 1 gram of potassium sulfate to a liter of water.
