Pelargonium, also known as geranium, has been among the most popular plants for several years.

It was its undemanding nature and lush and long flowering that raised it to the top of the pedestal, says Anastasia Kovrizhnykh, an expert of the online publication BelNovosti, an agronomist and landscape designer.

However, even plants that are unpretentious sometimes do not look the way their owners would like.

Why Pelargonium Doesn't Bloom

If the plants on your windowsill or in your garden are not delighting you with blossoming buds, it is likely that you are doing something wrong.

Another option is that the flower pot is located in the shade and the geranium does not receive enough sunlight.

Another possible reason is a lack of nutrients. Remember how long ago you fed your pelargonium?

In addition, the lack of flowering is directly related to a lack of water or fungal diseases.

Sometimes the factor that influences the flowering of geraniums is weather conditions - low temperatures do not contribute to the formation of buds.

Finally, you should check whether the plants are planted too densely - this has a direct impact on the flowering of the pelargonium.
