Just a few plants and the soil is like new: what advanced gardeners plant in their plots

If you want to restore the soil after harvesting, improve its health and saturate it with useful microelements so that it becomes more fertile, then you should plant green manure.

In addition, such useful plants are able to displace weeds, which means that weeding in the beds will have to be done less often.

Some crops can even drive away some pests from the site.

What plants should you pay attention to?

Green manure crops are divided into families: cruciferous (white mustard, rapeseed), legumes (clover, alfalfa, lupine) and cereals (oats, rye, wheat).

Buckwheat and phacelia should be singled out separately.

However, you shouldn't get hung up on one type of green manure. It's better to mix and alternate them.

But you shouldn't mix seeds of crops from different families in one planting. It's all about the speed of germination. For example, when lupine just starts to sprout, phacelia or mustard will already have to be mown down.

In addition, it must be taken into account that not all plants can develop normally next to each other.
