How to remove horseradish from a plot

Horseradish roots go down to a depth of five meters, so digging them up is not an option.

The most environmentally friendly way to remove horseradish is to deprive it of sunlight by covering it with black plastic film or spunbond.

However, it may take 2-3 seasons for the root to die off.

The second method is ammonium nitrate. It needs to be sprinkled on the soil around the plant.

One bush requires at least a kilogram of saltpeter.

The third method is herbicides. They must be used with extreme caution.

It is advisable to dig up the soil around the plant and use a syringe to inject the herbicide directly into the rhizome.
