For unknown reasons, currants are the first to suffer from aphid attacks.

This pest is also partial to gooseberries and cucumbers, while other crops are in second place.

Therefore, it would not hurt any summer resident to fill his piggy bank with as many recipes as possible that promise to rid him of such a misfortune.

One of these recipes is based on the use of kefir.

So, fill the bucket with water and add a liter of kefir, 2 tablespoons of soda and 3 tablespoons of liquid soap.

To help the soda dissolve better, it is recommended to first stir it in a small amount of warm water, and if you suddenly run out of liquid soap, you can safely replace it with dishwashing liquid.

Now pour the resulting mixture into a spray solution and go to the garden to treat the plantings.

It is claimed that this product can be used not only to defeat aphid colonies, but also to cope with powdery mildew.
