In the case of cucumbers, achieving this “effect” is much easier than it might seem at first glance. The main thing is to follow a few rules when growing them.
1. Choose the right place for cucumber beds. The main requirements for a plot of land are that it is sunny, and the soil is light, moist and nutritious.
2. Don’t forget to water the cucumbers, and this should be done exclusively using warm water.
3. To maintain soil fertility, do not forget to use organic fertilizers, which cucumbers especially love, and do not neglect the use of potassium sulfate.
4. Another necessary component is nitrogen. It is worth using nitrogen-containing fertilizers as soon as the fruiting period begins - for the development of bushes and maintaining a decent yield.
5. Mulch the beds to protect the roots of the crop from overheating and maintain soil fertility.
6. Weeding is also important - weeds should be considered as the main competitors with which cucumbers compete for nutrients.
