A serious disappointment for any gardener will be the lack of full development of the grown carrots.

It happens that root crops turn out to be small, despite all the efforts of the owner of a country plot.

A gardener can apply all the necessary fertilizers, fight dangerous insects, water the crop regularly... and still get a bad result.

It may be that one of the above mentioned procedures is not being carried out correctly. We are talking about watering.

How to water a plant correctly

When replenishing the moisture deficit in a carrot bed, you need to use moderately warm water.

It is desirable that this liquid be from a barrel, which is located in the open air in a well-lit area.

But it's not just about the water temperature. Sometimes you can't do without an additive.

It turns out that salt water has a positive effect on carrots.

Therefore, salt must be added to the irrigation liquid.

But not always. Two "salty" waterings during one summer season will be quite enough for large carrots to form.

There should be two teaspoons of sodium chloride per bucket of water.

The volume of the resulting solution is calculated for two square meters of the garden bed.
