However, some gardeners make the same mistakes when using it year after year.
Their wrong actions lead to the destruction of their beloved greenhouse. In order not to end up in their place, pay attention to the following points.
1. Sulfur checkers
The use of sulfur checkers in structures made of metal and polycarbonate is prohibited.
Due to the fact that during the combustion process of such a checker, sulfuric acid is released, which, when in contact with water, forms sulfurous and then sulfuric acids, these materials are subject to destruction.
Such measures should only be taken if the building was constructed from stone, glass and wood.
2. Striving for savings
When choosing a greenhouse for your site, pay attention not to the thickness, but to its compliance with GOST.
You can check the quality of the structure yourself by squeezing the polycarbonate with your fingers. If you managed to squeeze it, most likely you have a low-quality material in front of you. If you can’t, you can go to the checkout.
