And a homemade design will cost practically nothing: all you need is a five-liter plastic bottle and a little free time.
A series of holes must be made in the container so that they are located at approximately the same distance from each other.
Make the first row of holes 3 cm above the bottom.
The second row can be arranged in a checkerboard pattern or parallel to the first.
When determining the diameter of the holes, the density of the soil on the site should be taken as a basis. If the soil is dense, make sure that the holes are large; for loose soils, smaller holes will do.
Once the preparatory stage is over, place the bottle upside down in the ground and fill it with water. Do not close the lid.
