Summer residents and gardeners especially value environmentally friendly and useful bioadditives and other folk remedies against pests and diseases.
It's nice when one product can solve several problems at once. For example, protect plantings from pests and serve as fertilizer.
Here's what gardeners have come up with to protect cabbage from pests and fertilize it at the same time.
Folk food supplement
In fact, there is nothing new in this method. They say that our grandfathers practiced it.
Fermented milk products (whey) are used to treat cabbage. The bacteria contained in them protect the leaves and soil from fungus.
How to proceed
You will need:
- 500 ml whey;
- 1 tbsp. laundry soap;
- water - 5 liters;
- iodine - 10 drops.
How to use
The ingredients are mixed, poured into a sprayer and used to treat the cabbage and the soil underneath it at intervals of once every 10 days.
