Not every summer resident is ready to use chemicals in their garden beds.
In such situations, folk methods come to the rescue.
The easiest option is to direct a stream of water from a hose onto the affected leaves to wash off the aphids.
Several of these “water treatments” will help to cleanse the vegetable of the pest.
A product based on ash is relevant.
To do this, just 2 cups of this product need to be mixed in a bucket of water with a small amount of cinnamon or hot pepper (2 spoons will be enough for this amount of fertilizer). Add 200 grams of crushed laundry soap to the mixture. Treat the cabbage with the solution.
Some summer residents are supporters of using tobacco decoction, which is also mixed with ash for effectiveness.
In addition, some gardeners prepare infusions based on tomato or potato tops, onion peels and garlic. Such preparations are also effective in combating aphids.
