How to Make Yeast Fertilizer for Cucumbers: There Are No Analogues

Despite the fact that there are countless different types of fertilizers that can be used in cucumber beds, a yeast-based composition is considered the best by many summer residents.

However, despite the effectiveness of homemade fertilizer, you should not overuse it.

The ban on frequent use is due to the fact that yeast can acidify the soil when used frequently, so the maximum number of times the composition can be applied is 3 times per season.

After each procedure, do not forget to water the cucumbers with an ash solution prepared from 0.5 l of ash and 10 l of water.

And now about the feeding itself. The first time the seedlings are “treated” with yeast (this time, by the way, does not count).

A week after planting, it is worth using yeast again. About a month later, during the flowering stage, the fertilizer is applied again, and finally, the last time - a month later, to extend the fruiting period.

To prepare the nutrient composition, mix 10 g of dry yeast and 2 tablespoons of sugar and dissolve them in 10 liters of water, and after 3 hours dilute the resulting concentrate with water in a ratio of 1 to 6 and use for watering.
