Milk is a healthy drink not only for people, but also for plants. This product contains many useful elements (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, etc.), which have a positive effect on the condition of the plantings.

Milk fertilizer is easy to prepare. You need to take a liter of skim milk and mix it with 4 liters of water. This solution should be applied to the cucumbers at the same time as planting the seedlings.

If you add iodine to milk, you can enhance the effect. And as a result, plants will be protected from diseases, for example, from powdery mildew.

Cucumbers that are treated with this product will be more delicious, crispy and aromatic.

In addition, such feeding with iodine and milk forms a protective film on the cucumber leaves from pests.

It is also very easy to prepare such a remedy. In 10 liters of water you need to dilute a liter of milk and 10 drops of iodine. Once every 2 weeks you can water the bushes with the remedy. For adult plants you need to take 500 ml of the remedy, but for young bushes 200 ml of fertilizer will be enough.

Experienced gardeners note that milk can be replaced with whey or kefir.

This remedy will protect against fungus. But for 1 liter of serum you will have to take only 2 drops of iodine. The solution for foliar feeding is suitable.
