There are currant bushes on almost every summer cottage plot.
After all, the plant produces not only sweet, but also very healthy berries. In addition, the fruits make delicious winter preserves that can be added to desserts.
But in order for the harvest to be truly pleasing, you need to take care of additional nutrition for the currants.
Potato peelings will be an excellent fertilizer. It is enough to simply dig them under the bushes, and soon the waste will begin to release the necessary elements into the soil: potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, zinc.
Thanks to this, there will be many tasty and large berries on the bushes.
Feeding with potato peelings is also great not only for currants, but also for other popular berry bushes. For example, for honeysuckle or gooseberries.
You can use this type of fertilizer only once a year, but it is best to do this in the spring (before the first leaves appear).
