How to deal with a mole cricket using eggshells: interesting gardening tricks

The appearance of a mole cricket in a summer house is a huge problem for a gardener.
Firstly, seeing such a large insect is unpleasant in itself.
Secondly, the pest can leave the gardener without a harvest. The fact is that the insect often damages both underground and above-ground parts of many garden crops.
However, this is not a reason to give up. You can fight the mole cricket. And you won't even have to use chemicals to do it.
You can also get rid of the insect using a natural remedy. We are talking about eggshells.
The first trick with the shell
The first option for using the hard shell of eggs is the following: the shell must be crushed a little to obtain a set of numerous fragments.
In this form, the product should be sprinkled on the soil in front of the vulnerable plant.
In this case, the shell will act as a kind of barrier.
Sharp particles will harm the mole cricket. As a result, the insect is unlikely to appear in the garden again.
The second trick with the shell
The shell can also be turned into bait. To do this, the product must be finely ground. This can be done using a coffee grinder.
You will get a loose component, into which you need to pour a little strong-smelling vegetable oil.
The resulting mass must be molded into balls. They should be placed on the soil.
The aroma will attract the mole cricket. Most likely, the insect will eat the balls from the shell and die.
