Potatoes are the most popular vegetable in gardens. The root crop is grown quite simply if you follow simple agricultural practices.

The planting process must be approached seriously.

The beds should be developed from south to north so that the bushes are better illuminated. It is advisable to make furrows at a distance of 70 cm from each other. It is better to leave the distance between tubers at 30-35 cm.

But how deep should potatoes be planted? It all depends on the nature of the soil. If the soil is clayey, then you can plant the seeds 4-5 cm deep, and if the soil is loamy, then 6-7 cm will do.

If fertilizers were not added during digging, then you need to add fertilizers under each root. You can take for this an incomplete tablespoon of azofoska and a teaspoon of chlorine-free potassium fertilizer.

If desired, mineral fertilizers can be replaced with a handful of humus and wood ash. The products should be applied under the root.

But any substance must be mixed with the soil.

In the future, you need to remember the simple rules of cultivation. In dry weather, you can water the plants. The rest of the care consists of loosening the spaces between the rows, weeding, and hilling.
