On the bush you need to find the so-called "golden" stepson. After the main stepson, it is considered the strongest. Often it is located under the first flower brush.
This "golden" stepson should not be torn off. Everything that is underneath it should be removed.
This way the plant will not waste nutrients on shoots that will not produce fruit. After their removal, the tomato will direct its resources to the formation of tomatoes.
It should be noted that in some cases the stem bifurcates. This kind of stepchild is the easiest to identify. If you do not remove it, the tomato will grow into two trunks, which will double the yield.
