If you happen to be the happy owner of a "rose tree" on your plot, you can only envy. And, of course, give some advice on caring for a rhododendron so that it continues to please you in the future.

As the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, scientist-agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh explained, if you notice every year that the bush is in an unsatisfactory condition, that is, it blooms weakly or does not bloom at all, does not survive the winter well, it needs to be replanted.

Although the plant tolerates this procedure well, there are several points that should be taken into account when replanting rhododendrons.

First of all, it is worth specifying the time frame when this operation can be carried out.

This could be early spring (late March – early April) or late summer – early fall (mid-August – October).

The main condition is cool weather, accompanied by high humidity, and the absence of flowering.

In general, the main thing is that the soil is in such a condition that it can be dug, but at the same time it is not too wet.

However, one should not deny the possibility of transplanting rhododendrons in June - for example, some gardeners move the bush to a new location two weeks after flowering.
