Fertilizer for honeysuckle can be applied as early as June.

Around the end of the first month of summer, the bushes begin to produce a new harvest.

But while the berries are forming, there is an opportunity to add valuable fertilizer. Thanks to it, the yield of the bushes will increase by 2 times.

During the flowering period, it is useful to feed honeysuckle with boron. June is the ideal time to prepare this fertilizer and spray the bushes.

To increase the number of ovaries, dissolve 1 g of boric acid in 10 liters of water. However, it dissolves worse in cold liquid, so you can take a small amount of warm water and then mix it with the main volume.

An important nuance

The boric acid trick won't work if the honeysuckle is potassium deficient. It's necessary to replenish the supply of this macronutrient.

To do this, dilute 10 g of potassium sulfate in 10 liters of water and water the bushes at the root. To make the result even greater, add 500 g of ash to the solution.
