Many people grow radishes in their summer cottages from spring until autumn: this excellent crop can delight us with a harvest several times during the season.
However, sometimes the vegetable grows bitter and dry, which is not the most pleasant moment.
In order for radishes to grow sweet, juicy and large, you need to remember three important rules.
Some crops require rare watering and easily tolerate the lack of moisture. Radish is not one of them. Scientist agronomist and landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh , an expert of the online publication "BelNovosti", reminds that with the right growing technique, the crop should be watered twice a day.
There are no special fertilizers for radishes, since the crop does not need them. However, for correct development, ordinary ash will not interfere.
Nutrients can be added in any way.
Remember that radishes cannot be planted too close to each other: the crop simply will not be able to develop normally and please you with a decent harvest.
Therefore, try to maintain at least a minimum distance.
