The plant should be watered weekly. And quite generously.
On hot days, the gardener should moisten the soil to a depth of approximately 20 centimeters.
The final stage of cultivation
Exactly one month before the planned garlic harvest, the gardener should stop watering the plant frequently.
The less often this procedure is carried out during this period, the better.
If the gardener continues to water the vegetable crop abundantly in the last weeks of cultivation, the heads will become watery. The vegetable will lose its piquancy and bright aroma.
But if you follow the watering rules described above, the garlic cloves will grow large and tasty.
