Many gardeners already know that the peel left after eating bananas can be used as an effective fertilizer.

The benefit of these plant wastes is that they contain a large amount of nutrients.

Let's find out which flowers respond well to this type of feeding.

The list, it must be admitted, turned out to be quite impressive: there are roses, gladioli, as well as violets, azaleas, buttercups...

They all have one thing in common: a love of acidic soil.

How do you use banana peels? You can add them to compost, where they will decompose into a nutritious fertilizer. One note: the peel should be crushed first.

Another option for using banana waste is mulching. Spread the peels (again, shredded) on the surface of the soil around the plants. This will improve the composition of the soil.

Finally, banana peels can be cut into pieces, covered with water and left for a few days.

After the specified time, water the flowers with the resulting nutrient solution.
