Experienced gardeners told us about the main medicinal herbs that grow without any demands on climatic conditions and save a lot of money on trips to the pharmacy.

Oregano

It can be grown not only in a flower bed or in a vegetable garden. It grows well in pots and has a habit of actively growing. It has antiseptic properties, fights microbes, is rich in antioxidants, soothes pain, normalizes digestion and is used in cooking.

Sage

Medicinal sage fights inflammation, is useful for stomach upset, sore throat, and can be brewed into tea.

Echinacea purpurea

It is impossible to live without it in our climate. This is the first medicine that should be taken for cold symptoms. Tinctures are prepared from the roots and flowers for the season of acute respiratory viral infections and flu.

It has a calming effect and helps with insomnia. Can be added to tea or placed under a pillow.

Calendula

Lavender

In aromatherapy, it has no equal. A great way to relieve anxiety, relax and cope with insomnia is to brew tea or keep a couple of sprigs of dried lavender in a pillowcase.

Mint

Not only a base for aromatic tea, but also a painkiller. Useful for sore throats, digestive problems, muscle pain. You can even take baths with mint.
