Where to plant raspberries to harvest berries by the bucketful: the perfect place

The yield of raspberries depends on many factors, including the place chosen for planting the crop.

If a raspberry bush grows in an area that is not suitable for it, then the summer resident can hardly count on an abundance of berries.

But if the conditions for growing the plant are optimal, then a lot of fruits will form.

The owner of a country plot will have the opportunity to harvest in buckets.

Ideal place for raspberries

The main rule is as follows: “The plant should not be in the place where berry bushes grew last summer.”

First of all, we are talking about raspberries. In other words, the crop should not be its own "successor". At least for at least four years after the previous harvest.

Therefore, crop rotation rules cannot be ignored.

An ideal area for raspberries would be a plot where vegetables were previously grown.

If the plant turns out to be a “successor” to peas, beans, zucchini, onions or garlic, then the probability of getting a bountiful harvest of berries will be almost 100%.
