The sweetness of the fruit depends largely on the variety, but you can make them even tastier with a little trick.

It is no secret that the harvest largely depends on fertilizing. Each fertilizer plays a certain role in the formation of fruits and the development of the entire tree.

Epsom salt

During the period of budding and formation of the ovary, the apple tree consumes a lot of nutrients. During this period, the tree can be provided with additional substances that will make the apples sweeter.

For this, salt is used, but not table salt, but English salt. It is also called Epsom salt, bitter salt, or magnesium sulfate.

How to feed

A solution is prepared from Epsom salt and added under the root. For 5 liters of water, take 2 tablespoons of magnesium sulfate.

For the best effect, fertilizing is done not once, but at least twice. For example, before flowering and during the period of fruit formation.
