If you want your hydrangea bushes to look even more impressive, don't forget to treat them with some sour water.

To prepare the liquid, you will need just one teaspoon of citric acid, which should be diluted in a 10-liter bucket of water.

The solution should be used for watering at the roots.

The procedure is carried out throughout the season, visiting the hydrangea with a watering can once a month - from May to September.

If you don’t have any lemon juice on hand, you can use a recipe based on potassium nitrate.

In this case, for the same volume of water (10 l) you will need 40 g of the preparation. The acidification scheme is the same - once a month.

In addition, there are recipes based on apple cider vinegar, which requires 10 tablespoons per bucket of water.

Finally, you can use oxalic acid. Dissolve 1.5 teaspoons in a glass filled with warm water, and then bring the volume to 10 liters (the water should be at room temperature).
