Why you shouldn't plant ryegrass on your plot: many summer residents regretted it

The plant, known to many farmers as "specklewort", has recently become especially popular among plant growers.

However, not everyone who decorates their home area with cereals has become familiar with their “background”.

This is the main mistake of careless gardeners and vegetable growers.

The thing is that the ryegrass can rightfully be called a crazy aggressor, despite its attractive appearance: the plant has silvery-gray foliage and looks majestic against the background of the lawn.

But hidden underground are powerful rhizomes, which are difficult to get rid of even with great desire.

It takes very little time for the rye weed to take over a territory.

It won’t be possible to simply pull out the weeds, and digging them up will be problematic – the roots go deep underground, and the smallest piece left behind will give rise to new growth of weeds.

If you cannot imagine a plot without this plant, although harmful, but beautiful, it should be planted immediately in a rigid limiter.
