Bell peppers delight gourmets with their juiciness and pleasant sweet taste.

However, the harvest of garden crops is not always of such high quality.

Often the taste of the vegetable is not bright enough. And the number of fruits collected can also be disappointing.

Poor pepper yields are often explained by the fact that the gardener made some kind of mistake.

Perhaps the gardener chose the wrong place to plant the plant, violated crop rotation rules, or applied an insufficient amount of fertilizer.

However, special attention should be paid to such a point as watering the garden crop.

If the procedure is carried out incorrectly, the harvest will obviously be disappointing. But if you follow the recommendations below, everything will be fine.

Start watering on time

It is advisable to carry out the first procedure 5 days after the gardener has planted the pepper.

Frequency of watering

Once the plant has taken root, watering should be done once every 10 days. If the weather is hot and there is little precipitation, the procedure can be done more often.

During fruit formation, the plant should be watered once every 3-4 days.

Water temperature

The indicator should not be low. Cold liquid can negatively affect the condition of the garden crop.

The water used for watering bell peppers should be moderately warm.

Loosening

After the plant and soil have been watered, the soil needs to be loosened.

This should be done with the utmost caution: there is a high risk of damaging the root system, which is located quite high.
