Experienced gardeners say that zucchini should not be watered with cold water. For example, if you collect it from a well or a pump and immediately water the plants with it, you can ruin the plant.
Experienced gardeners do not recommend watering zucchini on the leaves. Also, you should not use a hose for this purpose. Strong water pressure will wash away the soil and expose the roots.
Zucchini and other plants should not be watered in hot weather. This can cause burns on the leaves.
How to water zucchini correctly
This crop loves warm water that has been heated by the sun all day. Water the plant at the root using a liter or half-liter jar.
The soil is moistened mainly in the evening, when the sun's activity is reduced. But some summer residents do it early in the morning.
