Aphids can easily destroy a rose, and then multiply and move to other plants in the garden.
Caring for roses is not easy. Gardeners devote a lot of time and effort to this plant.
Those summer residents who have a whole blooming rose garden can be proud and consider themselves experienced flower growers.
But sometimes both experienced and novice gardeners face a problem that threatens the health of roses. The appearance of aphids cannot be ignored, otherwise you will have to replant the flowers.
There are several ways to get rid of aphids on roses. It is not necessary to use special means to combat pests. In the arsenal of folk wisdom there are several penny tricks.
1. Ammonia. 50 ml of the drugstore product is diluted in 5 liters of warm water and a little laundry soap is added. The resulting solution is sprayed on the plants. Repeated treatment is carried out after 7 days.
2. Ash. If a good supply of ash has formed after the winter, then 300-400 g can be taken to combat aphids. This amount of combustion product is mixed with 10 liters of water. The solution is put on the fire and boiled for 2 hours, then cooled, filtered and sprayed on roses.
3. Hydrogen peroxide. For 10 liters of water, use 3-4 tablespoons of the drugstore product and 3 tablespoons of laundry soap. Gardeners also use hydrogen peroxide as a preventive measure against aphids. In this case, roses are sprayed once every 14 days.
