In the spring, before planting the seeds in the soil, it is worth preparing furrows that need to be fertilized with wood ash.

There are no specific requirements for the amount of wood burning residue that should end up in the beds.

It is enough to scatter the ash along the bottom of the furrow in a layer about 1.5 cm thick. All that remains is to sprinkle the ash with soil, water it and wait until the water is absorbed into the soil, after which you can begin sowing.
