Radish will grow well and produce an excellent harvest only if several conditions are met.
Expert of the online publication BelNovosti, agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh shared advice on growing radishes.
First of all, gardeners need to try to maintain the optimal temperature regime.
The comfortable daytime temperature for radishes is +18 degrees. At night, the thermometer should not fall below +10 degrees. If the temperature is too low, the young shoots will soon stretch out.
The level of soil warming is also important; it should not be lower than +12 degrees.
In addition, stable air humidity should be approximately 70%.
Radishes also require a full day of light, lasting from 8 to 12 hours.
Excessive lighting, that is, that which exceeds 14 hours, leads to the formation of arrows on the bushes.
