Tomatoes are a fragile crop. It can be difficult to get strong and healthy seedlings.
It is very important not only to follow the rules of watering and fertilizing, but also to plant the plants correctly.
Experienced gardeners prefer to use one simple method for picking tomatoes.
To do this, you should stop watering the day before such an event. It should be taken into account that wet soil will be heavier, which means that it is more difficult to get the seedlings out, and the roots may be damaged in the process.
You also need to prepare a spoon, soil for seedlings, clean water for irrigation and containers for picking in advance.
Each pot should be filled with soil. Then small holes should be made in the soil, for example, a regular pencil will do for this procedure. The main thing is that the stem fits into the hole.
The plants should be carefully removed with a spoon and transferred to a new container. The soil lump at the roots should not be disturbed.
The sprout should be placed in a prepared hole, deepening it to the cotyledon leaves and carefully adding soil.
After this, the soil can be compacted a little. The last stage is watering the plants.
