What to plant in your summer cottage to forget about mosquitoes all summer long
The problem of various insects in the country is so widespread that many options have been invented to solve it.
As for mosquitoes, decorative plants will help to clear the area of them. It is beautiful, smells delicious, and there are no annoying insects.
What plants repel mosquitoes
Cymbopogon has a strong lemon scent that repels mosquitoes. It can be planted in a large pot and brought into the house or greenhouse when the cold weather arrives.
Melissa has a spicy aroma and light citrus notes. It is suitable for growing in both shade and partial shade. Melissa is also a source of raw materials for tea.
Marigolds emit odors that are unpleasant to mosquitoes and midges. Basil is not only a source of aromatic greenery, but also a real enemy for mosquitoes.
