Onions are a popular and unpretentious crop.

The seed material must be dried beforehand. It is best to do this for about a week.
Then the bulbs should be soaked in a salt solution of a tablespoon of salt and a liter of water. The onions should remain in this mixture for 3 hours. This will prevent rotting.
Afterwards, the bulbs should be washed and soaked in a weak solution of potassium permanganate for 2 hours to disinfect them. Then the bulbs should be washed and dried again.
You can proceed to planting. The beds should be well moistened beforehand. Otherwise, you just need to remember about treatment against diseases and pests, if any appear, and you should also remove weeds in time and not forget about watering and fertilizing.
