Experienced gardeners know how important it is to treat the garden for pests in a timely manner so that they don’t have any trouble in the summer and can calmly harvest their crops.
The treatment is carried out in spring. It is during this period that all the conditions exist to prevent the spread of pests.
Summer residents spray plants before flowering. They use both special preparations and folk remedies that have been tested for years.
Among the latter, wood ash is popular. Gardeners believe that this remedy is safe, effective and also free.
Ash protects plants from kidney mites, codling moths, cherry sawflies, and powdery mildew.
For each liter of water, take 40-50 g of ash. Put the mixture on the fire, bring to a boil, and then add laundry soap.
Tobacco leaf infusion: grind 400 g of dry raw material into powder, pour 10 liters of water and leave for 2 days, filter, dilute with water (1:2), add soap. Treat trees from aphids and leaf rollers.
